Marvelous World Travel - MWT

OMAN IS A NATURAL LINK BETWEEN AFRICA AND INDIA

It is also one of the few countries where you can explore a great variety of beautiful landscapes; the Indian Ocean and its golden beaches, the mountains reaching 3000 meters, and the ochre desert still inhabited by Bedouins.

In Oman, the traveler has always been considered as a guest, hence the long tradition of openness and hospitality. MWT loves making you meet locals. The country’s rich history is still present today in the hundreds of stone castles of Oman, witnessing 5,000 years of history such as the Bahla Fort included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Oman is a unique destination, where the mix of cultures is beautifully expressed, and the opposite of mass tourism must urgently be discovered! Ranked 2nd safety country in the world by World Economic Forum.

MUSCAT

Long known as the world’s smallest capital, 40 km of highways are now crossing the city. Muscat offers many luxurious hotels with meeting rooms and a huge convention center.

NIZWA

Near the desert, the ancient capital of Nizwa has retained its traditional architectural style. It’s the starting points of the mountains.

THE DESERT OF ASH SHARQIYAH SANDS

The heart of Oman is home to this vast sandy wilderness still inhabited by Beduins. Your excursion can be a day trip, but the magic of a night under the star-studded vault in the silence of the desert is an unforgettable memory. Fixed camps or luxurious private tents can be set up for you!

JABAL SHAMS

It’s the highest peak of Oman at 3075m. This mountain is home to the Oman GRAND CANYON that offers a breathtaking panorama from a plateau at 1950m above sea level. Unfortunately there is no luxurious hotel there.

JABAL AKHDAR

Its name “The Green Mountain” comes from the many terraced crops whose slopes are covered. Two 5* hotels including the very famous ALILA and The ANANTARA, offering very higher end offers with a lot of original possibilities.

THE PENINSULA OF MUSANDAM

Musandam Peninsula at only 2 hours from Dubaï, facing the Strait of Hormuz, is separated from the rest of Oman by part of the United Arab Emirates. You can discover the " Omani Fjords" aboard a “dhow”, traditional boats.

MASIRAH ISLAND

The National Ferry takes you in 1.30 hour to this island almost deserted. An amazing spot for kite-surfing, especially in Summer when the winds are blowing and the sea is hot.
