Day 1: Arrive in Muscat

Expected arrival in Muscat in the evening.

Custom welcome in customs and visa prepaid (optional)
After baggage claim, meet our French staff.
Transfer by minibus to the Shangri La Al Waha.
Personal welcome on arrival at the hotel. Refreshments and refreshing towels.

The Shangri La in Muscat consists of three hotels: Al Waha, Al Bandar and Al Husn,

Al Waha “OASIS”, is the largest of the three with an architecture of the south. It revolves around swimming pools surrounded by palm trees, like an Oasis and is ideal for families with children.
32m2 rooms have a balcony or a small patio facing the sea or the gardens.
Guests receive a free unlimited internet access in the rooms.
The Spa, isolated in the gardens of a large villa is deemed to reflect the serenity.

Day 2: Dolphin Beach Muscat

After breakfast, transfer to the marina and installed aboard a speed boat.
Along the way we will try spinners, many dolphins off the coast of Muscat.
Refreshments served on board
Back to Marina
Transfer to move towards the Oman Diving Center Resort.
Lunch at the club restaurant
Relaxing afternoon or on the activities in options

Return to hotel and dinner at the hotel restaurant

Day 3: Wadi Shab – Fins Beach – Sur – Ras Al Jinz

Departure by 4×4 along the coast. (Option: Transfer speed-boats to the beach Fins)
On the way crossing Sinkhole then continue to Wadi Shab

Walk in the wadi and swimming in the natural pools

In the afternoon, passing through the town of Sur. City built on the surface of ocean, the old town of Sur appears not to have changed for centuries.

It is for this reason one of the most picturesque cities of the Sultanate.

But also owes its reputation on its shipyard you take the time to visit.
They still make dhows, traditional Arabian boats.

Continuation to Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve

Day 4: Wadi Bani Khalid – Wahiba

Dhow ride in the bay of Ras al Hadd (optional if night at Turtle Beach Resort) `

Continuation by 4×4 to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the most beautiful oasis in the country with its pools of turquoise water winds through the white rocks.
Deep in the mountains, you just have to walk a bit to get into a chaos of stones and walls where the clear water flows …

Lunch at the restaurant Wadi Bani Khalid and pause swimming in the natural pools.

In the afternoon you will discover the ocher desert Sharkiya Sands called the Wahiba sands.

Stop traditional kava among the Bedouins

Night at Desert Night Camp or 1000 Nights Camp

Day 5: Nizwa

Arrival in the holy city of the Sultanate and free time in the souk

Lunch at local restaurant

In the afternoon visit the fort of Nizwa with its breathtaking view of the Oasis.
It is the largest fortress in the whole peninsula of Arabia. Built in the late 17th century, it features an impressive tower 24m high with a diameter of 40m.
Hailed as an architectural gem, it’s one of the finest historic buildings in the Sultanate.

Day 6: Nizwa – Muscat

After breakfast return to Muscat by roads outside of Wadi Bani Awf track. Passing through the village of Bilad Sayt and picnic along the way.
Arrival in the afternoon in Muscat to Al Husn Hotel 4 *

Back on the motorway and arrived for lunch in Muscat.

Day 7: Muscat

Departure from the hotel to visit Muscat. The smallest capital in the world appears as an oasis in the desert.
You head to the Grand Mosque, a jewel of remarkable Omani architecture with its largest hand-woven carpet in the world or its luster Swarkovski more than 14m long.
Then stop at the Royal Opera House Muscat opened in 2011.

Lunch at the famous Kargeen restaurant, designed in typical Omani décor.
Continue the tour with a drive past the Sultan’s Palace, which is considered by Omani as a symbol of the rebirth of the country.

Finally, you reach the port of Muttrah and its cornice, its souk and its many bazaars that make a principal and central place.

Free time in the souk then back to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 8: Muscat – Paris

Departure from the hotel to the airport and flight from Muscat to Paris
